Race, Culture, & the Church

In our society, culture matters. While some suggest ignoring it in favor of love and unity, reality demands acknowledgment. We celebrate progress and strive for improvement through honest conversations, particularly focusing on racial dynamics in the US and Canada. Initiatives & Objectives

Initiative and Objectives

As a ministry we feel the necessity to reach across cultural barriers, past divisions, and chasms. We feel the Spirit compelling us to go into these communities to proclaim the line of the beautiful song that says, “Jacob’s well could never do, so I will draw from you. This old world will never do, so I will draw from you.”

As the woman at the well said to Jesus “The well is deep” (Jn 4:11). Likewise, the issues of these communities may run deep, but we know that the remedy is not found in Jacob’s well, it is found in a well that Jesus said He wants to create in them as He has in us (Jn 7:38). LET’S GO!
